The renewed enthusiasm for MEDIBAT among professionals, decision-makers and businessmen was clearly felt during the exhibition promotion actions carried out by the CCIS in professional and business circles during a series of events held abroad (Libya, France, Spain, Algeria, Lebanon, Senegal, Burkina Faso) in the past weeks and months in which the Chamber took part.
For its part, the ASCME (Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean) is committed, through an agreement signed with the CCIS, to promote the 17th edition of MEDIBAT and to encourage its members to organize visits by professional delegations to the show. Always “at the heart of MEDIBAT”, the African continent will be well represented in the show with the presence of many countries such as Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Mali, Niger, Gabon, Chad, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, in addition to Libya and Algeria having already confirmed their participation through the exhibition or official delegations which will be led by ministers, decision-makers and high influential personalities.
Finally, we expect that the new edition will achieve a very positive result not only in terms of exhibitors, official delegations, but also in terms of professional visitors who will approach, according to forecasts, 30 thousand visitors. and in the number of business meetings that will take place during the Forums and events parallel to the exhibition. We are counting on no less than 200 business meetings between the various partners, likely to give rise to joint ventures and concrete projects.

Africa in the spotlight, once again
The African continent is, once again, at the heart of MEDIBAT. Several countries decided to participate with senior officials and delegations of businessmen, professionals and principals. This is indeed the case of Burkina-Faso which has officially announced the arrival of a strong delegation which will be led by the Minister of Infrastructure and Opening Up Mr. Adama Luc Sorgho.
The economic forum, which will be an opportunity to meet decision-makers and those primarily responsible for major construction projects, will also be marked by the presence of the Cameroonian Minister of Housing and Urban Development. The Scientific Forum, a highlight of the show
Another highlight of the 17th edition of the Show, that of the Scientific Forum. The Organizing Committee for this parallel activity to the exhibition, which has been working hard for several weeks, seems to have succeeded in putting together an ambitious program with hot topical themes relating to questions of town planning and legislation, ecology and sustainable development and technology and artificial intelligence.
Leading figures in these fields are expected to take part in the Forum, present the latest developments and progress and provide specific training.
Prestigious organizations and structures will take part in these activities, including in particular the Order of Tunisian Engineers (OIT), the Order of Tunisian Architects (OAT), the National Energy Management Agency (ANME), the Council of Engineering Sciences (OIT) under the OIT, the KNX UC Tunisia Association…etc.
Likewise, we are still studying the possibilities of the presence of renowned donors who can have a valuable contribution to the realization of futuristic projects for green, intelligent and sustainable buildings. These include, among others, the ADB (African Development Bank), the German International Cooperation Agency GIZ, the French Development Agency (AFD), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB)…
